Principal Contractor

Health and safety is at the forefront of everything we do, Copperstone are usually appointed as Principal contractor for the projects we run.  On commercial or Domestic contracts we are experienced in the planning, management, monitoring and co-ordinating of health and safety throughout the construction phase of a project.

Principal Designer

In addition to our Principal Contractor roles we are have experience of working as a Principal Designer, advising on the pre-construction phase of projects, with the client and their professional teams.

The right Contract can be the key to effective procurement and delivery of any project.

Copperstone primarily work with JCT and NEC contracts, Design and Build, Contractors design, Guaranteed Maximum Price and Traditional, on a competitive or negotiated basis.

HOW WE WORK

  • ESTABLISH PROJECT REQUIREMENTS

    We undertake a full fact find to understand your full project requirements, we listen to your project concerns, project needs and prepare a fully costed proposal for you.

  • PLANNING

    We prepare a full Project Plan providing a programme and timeline of key deliverable’s, how these will be achieved, how these will be monitored and measured and the indicators that items are completed

  • PRE CONSTRUCTION PHASE

    We commence the Pre Construction Phase to ensure the project is started on time and with the correct suppliers, approvals, licences, budgets, programmes, health and safety/CDM arrangements, specifications and site set up is in place and programme all required pre-start meetings, etc…

  • CONSTRUCTION

    We undertake the Construction Phase maintaining robust Health and Safety, Programme Adherence, Quality Management, Sub-Contractor Management whilst adhering to any SLA’s and KPIs agreed

  • COMPLETION

    We undertake regular inspections and Snagging in order to achieve practical completion in accordance with the programme and budget.  We close out any required snagging and prepare full O&M Manuals upon Completion
